New documentation

I've made a start on some documentation for the wiki application.

Previously, I included an HTML file with the windows version of the application, and appended a paragraph every time I added a new feature. This file has got a bit unwieldy now, and not very friendly to new users.

So I've decided to write an online version of the Help which is a little more task-oriented. It's not finished yet, but if you want to take a look, you can see it here.

Encrypting your wiki

I've been asked for some form of encryption feature many times, but have never really taken the time to look into it properly.

I've got a little time tonight, so will try and make a start on this. I'm not very familiar with the Windows crypto API, so I have no idea how much work will be involved. (What I mean is don't expect to see a wiki version with encryption too soon!)

If you have any specific requests or ideas about encryption while I'm still at this early stage, now would be a good time to pass them on. Otherwise, watch this space to see how I get on!

Having longer items in a bullet or numbered list

I've had a few emails recently asking how to do this - creating a list like this:

• first item
  continues here
  and here


• second item


• third item
  another long one

where each item in the list can be longer than a single line.
